I realized I hadn’t drawn anything in a few days. And it’s been even longer since I’ve drawn Wally/Dick. And oops I discovered textures. What if this became like a little comic thing?

Dick is stubborn sometimes, it really frustrates Wally. Especially when he convinces himself that he’s a failure. But Wally knows it’s other things. Festering. Building up. And he knows that sometimes Dick just needs a good cry.

He just wants her to know that she can be herself, that she doesn’t have to put on a mask for him. He likes M’gann for who she is, not what she is. But how could she ever explain to him that just because she was born in one body, it doesn’t mean that’s her true identity. How can she explain that she is a Green Martian, even if she wasn’t born that way?

For Val who was feeling down yesterday. 

Robin is the one who originally sparked the idea that he could become a hero. If anyone else asked he’d be quick to credit his local hero, the Flash. Especially since rumor has it that Robin is even younger than he is. But… Wally leans forward, resting his chin in his palms as he studies the acrobatic figure fly on his TV screen. He can’t actually be that young. 

Only, a few weeks later, he realizes he is that young. It’s pretty damn amazing especially considering he just got his butt saved by that kid. And the idea that he might have maybe, just a little, had a crush on Robin fizzles completely(at least that’s what he tells himself). 

“You look bigger on TV,” he blurts out, eyeing Robin shortly after they land. It takes him a few seconds to realize that he’s practically vomiting words, he’s so nervous. 

But Robin is pretty cool about it. He grins a little and responds, “They do say the camera adds ten pounds.” He adds a little shrug and prepares his grapple… hook… thingy. Whatever. 

And any normal person would thank the kid and let him go on his way. But. “What are you, like eight?” He really doesn’t mean to sound so snotty either. It just kind of slips in there. 

Robin turns back to him.
